Admission requirements 1. Language proficiency Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the language of instruction. Applicants to the English-taught cohort must demonstrate an adequate command of English. 2. Academic background Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent higher-education qualification. Candidates from Economics, Business and Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Information Systems or related fields may be admitted on the basis of their previous studies. Candidates whose previous degree does not cover the required foundations must complete the initial curriculum minimum specified in the study plan: Entrepreneurship, Statistics, Technological Internship, Economics, Management, Marketing and Mathematics (30 ECTS).
Eligibility for English proficiency exemptions Candidates may be exempted from presenting a separate English-language certificate if they:
  • hold a degree or official study certificate issued by an institution where English was the language of instruction;
  • hold a recognised English-language certificate at C1 level or above.
Aim of the study program The Master’s Programme in Business Analytics prepares specialists who can transform business data into evidence-based managerial decisions and sustainable organisational solutions. The programme integrates advanced business management with applied analytics and digital technologies. It develops expertise in:
  • collecting, processing, analysing and interpreting data from different functional areas of business;
  • predictive analytics, data mining, machine learning and artificial intelligence for business;
  • applied programming in Python and the use of business information systems, including SAP;
  • performance management, strategic decision modelling and digital marketing analytics;
  • research, ethical management, quality assurance, project management and sustainable organisational development.
Acquired competencies By the end of the programme, graduates will be able to:
  • apply advanced economic and managerial concepts to develop organisational strategies;
  • collect, process, analyse and interpret business data using appropriate statistical, predictive and computational tools;
  • use Python, business information systems, SAP solutions, artificial intelligence, data mining and machine-learning methods in business contexts;
  • identify strategic objectives and key performance indicators and model decisions aimed at improving organisational performance;
  • conduct complex financial, operational and market analyses and recommend evidence-based solutions;
  • optimise business processes, ensure quality standards and support digital and sustainable transformation;
  • manage projects, budgets, financial resources and organisational change while working effectively in multidisciplinary teams;
  • communicate analytical findings clearly through reports, dashboards and professional presentations;
  • observe legal and professional-ethics requirements and conduct independent scientific research addressing complex business problems.
Studied disciplines 1st Semester: Research Methodology and Ethics; Business Law; Strategic Management; Programming in Business Analytics (Python); Quality Management Systems; Predictive Analytics. 2nd Semester: Business Information Systems; Artificial Intelligence in Business; Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP); Organizational Culture and Social Responsibility & Mentorship and Personal Development; Business Project Management. 3rd Semester: Performance Management and Decision Modeling in Business; Digital Marketing Management; Data Mining and Machine Learning; Specialty Internship. 4th Semester: Master’s Research Internship; Master’s Thesis Preparation and Defense.
State final examination Master’s studies are completed through the preparation and public defense of the Master’s thesis (24 ECTS).
