| Aim of the study program | This Master’s programme is designed to equip students with the advanced knowledge, skills and competencies required to manage, design, secure and develop information and communication systems in modern business environments. The curriculum integrates engineering, digital technologies and business management, with emphasis on three core areas: - Information and Communication Systems: Advanced knowledge of the design, administration and development of modern communication networks, Internet of Things systems, data acquisition solutions and emerging communication technologies.
- Cybersecurity, Data and Intelligent Technologies: Competencies in artificial intelligence, Data Mining, data statistics, Cloud and Grid systems, cyberattack prevention, and the security and auditing of information and communication systems.
- Business Management and Digital Transformation: Expertise in project management, business simulations, entrepreneurship, business strategies, innovation and organisational digital transformation, including the assessment of the economic efficiency and performance of telecommunications projects.
Additionally, the programme provides practical and research-oriented training in developing innovative products and services, integrating emerging technologies, managing complex engineering projects, ensuring the quality and security of communication services, and supporting evidence-based decision-making in technology-driven organisations. |
| Acquired competencies | The Master’s Programme in Business Information and Communication Systems is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills in designing, managing, securing and developing information and communication systems within modern business environments. By the end of the programme, students will have acquired the following competencies: - Telecommunication Network Design and Administration – ability to analyse the organisational and technical requirements of modern telecommunication networks; competence in designing complex communication networks while ensuring service quality, reliability and security.
- Information and Communication Systems Management – competence in managing integrated information and communication systems; ability to select, combine and implement appropriate software and hardware solutions to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
- Cybersecurity and Information Systems Auditing – advanced knowledge of cyberattacks, Cloud and Grid system security and communication network protection; ability to assess risks, audit security processes and implement appropriate cybersecurity measures.
- Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence – competence in data acquisition, statistical analysis, Data Mining and artificial intelligence; ability to use data-driven methods to support operational and strategic business decisions.
- Emerging Technologies and Digital Innovation – ability to evaluate and integrate Internet of Things solutions, emerging communication technologies and intelligent systems; competence in developing innovative products and services adapted to market and organisational needs.
- Business and Project Management – competence in planning and managing complex projects, coordinating processes and resources and ensuring customer satisfaction; ability to prepare business plans and identify development opportunities and potential sources of financing.
- Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation – ability to identify and develop business opportunities in the field of electronic communications; competence in formulating business strategies and supporting innovation and organisational digital transformation.
